Whom do I list as beneficiaries?

When creating certain estate planning documents, you will be asked to whom you want to leave your estate.  These people or entities are called the beneficiaries of your estate.  In most cases, people who have children name them as the beneficiaries.  People who do not have children often choose their relatives.  These relatives can be nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, etc.  You can also choose corporate entities, such as charities or religious organizations.
